I created this image last year to commemorate Benedict getting the role of Smaug in the Hobbit films. It mixes up my love of pattern and everything Japanese. :D

Someone wants to use my artwork for a full body tattoo! RED DRAGON by KARADIN 

This image was created to commemorate the news that Benedict Cumberbatch will play the dragon Smaug in Peter Jackson’s film of The Hobbit. I’m a huge fan of the book from childhood, a fan of Benedict and of Japanese culture, including tattoos done in the traditional style. Today someone sent me this note:

I love this (dragon) tattoo so much. I think this would look great on me. Would you mind if I get this on my back?

I replied YES, you may get this tat on your back, just send me a picture! If you are keen on the art, but don’t want to make it permanent, you can get the image on tees and other merch on my site.  I’m so chuffed. :D
